from the looks of the pressure plate, it looks like you burned it good.

How many launches did the stock clutch take??

I'm just guessing here, but I hear there is a restictor in the clutch line that makes it real easy to burn the clutch in a IX.

I have 6k miles (no track days) and my clutch likes to slip when I make a (very) hurried start. I have learned to back out of the gas pretty quick and not expect it to grab on its own...

52000 miles, learned how to AWD launch on the clutch, with no two step, learned again when I got two step, two track days with a total of about 12-14 launches at the track, about 3 more street launches. Clutch still isnt slipping, but my 4th gear syncro is demolished.

The restrictor is there to slow the "hit" of the clutch and protect the drivetrain from owners who don't know how to drive.

if your clutch is slipping while accelerating form a stop or under load then your's is toast too.
