I just picked up a evo 9. iam looking to get a tune within a month or 2. im still deciding on ivey or dynoflash. neways i decided i want to do meth. what else will i need to run the meth kits? i was told i need a fuel pump and i would like to know if there is anything else i will need? also which kits are people going with? i was told that the smc is good and also snowperformance. let me know what you think thanks.

search please, i know there is plenty of info on this site because i just went through most of it making my decision and i chose SMC; however, CM also has a awesome kit for like 800 bucks. look around and decide what you want to spend and what you are looking for. they are pretty much all the same at this point, but some do have better "fail safes" than others IMO

800$ is alittle pricey. the smc is only around 500$. i suppose 500$ is my limit since i gotta spend 400-650$ for a tune as well

 

oh yea it is, but check it out. it is definitely interesting with the PDA

 

the IX's already have a good fuel pump.

 

i actually just called up nolimitmotorsport, they said they can do the kit for 485$. which tuner would u chose to tune the car w/meth?

 

A glass pipe and a torch....or sometimes tinfoil works or a light bulb if your in a pinch. Oh...straws or a rolled up dollar bill works too.

as far as tuners go take your pick, there are many many qualified tuners i personally take my car to Andrew @ Dyno4mance and/or let Shiv do his thing when he comes down this way.

Why funny? $299 for a custom tune from a recognized and respected vendor of this forum sounds like a great oppurtunity to me.

 

Please get a fuel pump if you're going to do meth. They're under a $100 and cheap insurance.
