Just found this thread again. I have been running this exhaust on my IX MR for over 7,000 miles now and love it.

Exhaust performs well. I made 291hp/279torque on a dyno dynamics dyno at 23 psi falling to 17psi. Only other mod was a mbc and a flash, stock filter stock charge pipes. Most stock IXs make 220-230 at this shop.

Here is the link to my dyno thread on a local forum http://www.evomn.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=731

I am not haveing any problems with hanging low on my evo 9 with some heat wrap where the dp gets close to the diff and a bit of hanger bending I have never hit the exhaust bottoming out, mayber your friend is lowered because I am on stock springs?

Well I finally installed mine last night. Pretty easy install. Ran into a few problems but all in all it went pretty well. It does sound like the exhaust is rattling so I'm guessing it did move a bit and is rubbing the acd so Im gonna get back under there and fix that. I do find it to be a little too loud though. Have the feeling ill be getting pulled over for it.

I know where the heatshield is but what am I looking for? Will the exhaust be rubbing up against it? Also should I have put heat wrap around the downpipe because I didnt and now I'm wondering if I should have.

heat wrap is fine to have on the dp, i put some on mine too where the diff is. the heat shield is probably vibrating and hitting the midpipe or test pipe, just hit is with a hammer a bit and it will bend away from the pipes.

TBE means Turbo Back Exhaust - that's everything after the turbo except for the 02 housing.

i doubt it, you probably need to really hit it hard to dislodge it from its stuck ponit? I think you will make much more power and be really loud after taking it off. But that isnt always a bad thing.

I have been pulled over 4 times since getting the evo and not once just for the exhuast, but 2 times they have said something and this last time he asked if i knew that it was illegal to have modified exhaust, he didnt even check for a cat or anything - and i was only written up for the first offense.

Dont worry, most the time if your not hammering on the gas pedal right next to the cop - they wont look twice, i just accelerate really slowly or not at all near police
