have tbe/intake about to get tuned ?'s MBC or EBC

Only mods i have on my car right now is the intake and a turbo back exhaust with no cat. I was thinking of getting a mbc to up my boost a fuel 255 fuel pump before i go to get my tune done. I was told i should get a ebc over a mbc as the chances are greater to fail with a mbc then a ebc, is this true? I am not wanting more and more devices and guages in the car and i want something simple, this is why i decided to get a mbc instead of a ebc but if its gonna be more prone to failing i am thinking of waiting.

So basically do i keep my intake/tbe mods and go get my custom road tune and then later get my ebc and fuel pump and then use my free upgrade tune with al.

Also i was told i shoudl get a turbo timer, would ir eally need to get this if i only have these simple mods?

Get a hallman or a forge unos man, the best 85 dollars or less you'll spent on a mbc.

Just get a manual. If anything, I would think that it would be LESS prone to failing. Fewer parts, less intricate. But with an EBC you can eliminate taper. If that's worth 4x the price to you, then I'd say go for it. Of course adjusting an EBC would be a lot easier than an MBC as well.

And no, you don't NEED a TT. It's just another gadget.

+1 definitely the way to go. Some of the EBCs are real nice sure, but they're way more expensive, and for me, it just doesnt seem to be worth it.
