UTEC with 1000cc injectors on a 50 trim BB

Just waiting for a couple more parts (60k service parts) to show up and the weather to cool off a bit. Nothing worse than working in your own un-airconditioned garage in Houston weather during the summer.
The Utec is working great with the base flash, and I'll use it to fine tune the 50 trim once it's installed. 780's are a bit big (IMO) for the 50 trim, but I'm not sure where I'm gonna stop on turbo size yet. Whoever suggested 1000 cc injectors minimum may have been thinking about the AEM EMS instead of the Utec. My undestanding is that you need larger injectors than normal with the AEM due to the injector drivers that system uses.

Also, if I want to have multiple maps (pump gas and race gas), it would not be a problem since I'll still be using the UTEC. Is this correct?
Sorry for the delay in response, but I've been tied up with other things, the car being only one of them. I'm fighting a stalling issue now that the stock air box is gone with the 50 trim install. Idles smooth as silk, but if you chop throttle and hit the brakes (like in stop and go traffic), it tries to die. Even with a base flash for the larger injectors (that's pretty good as is), I'm considering going to open loop fuelling so I can affect my idle area of the fuel map. I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone on this idea.... Malibu, Evo Tech, others, you guys still around?
This thread actually helped me alot also! So there is no way of having more than 1 map with a custom flash? Are there cheaper ways of storing map's rather than buying a 700+ dollar piggybak system?
