Stock Turbo

i have a stock 2003 evo 8.. how much psi i can i run off the stock turbo without having any problems?

with a tune and 93 octane, about 22psi or 1.5 bar, with no tune 19psi

no 19 spike drops to 15-16. get a boost controler and set it at 19psi and it will hold. a big difference

Ok.so by the time redline hits it drops to 16psi. I knew that. But if I get a MBC and set it to 19 it will stay 19 all the way to redline?

Nope.Stock turbo run out of breath at 7000rpm.

+1. Had a friend that was running around 30psi on the stock turbo. That was with methanol, cams and other bolt ons and tuned. Turbo acutally held up find it was the block that gave out

No

A MBC will get rid of some of the taper, not all. The turbo runs out of breath and theres nothing you can do.
