Walbro Fuel pump

Is there any way at all to test the walbro fuel pump to see if it is goin bad.....when im cruising at a steady rpm in 3rd 4th and 5th grs i happen to get a spuddder like a hestation seems like im not getting fuel......when it first happens i get the good ole p0300 code and my afr goes REAL LEAN past 17.0......so i have a feeling it is my fuel pump is there any way at all to test to see if that is goin bad or not?

I have the same thing happen when I get my PO300, but I assumed it was related to the ECU going into some sort of safe mode due to the code. As soon as I lift off the throttle and reapply it the problem goes away. I don't seem to have any problems with fuel at WOT so it seems that my fuel pump must be working well.
