Anyone got any word on this? I know that if I had another car coming my way I'd be much more comfortable knowing I at least had a chance. Side air-bags do work!

 

I very much doubt it. It will add too much weight to the car. Every Kg counts when trying to get a better 0-62 time against the impreza.

 

Which kind of side airbags? The ones that come from the b-pillar or the ones that come out of the side of the seat? I think one is called side-impact and the other is called side-curtain or something like that.

B-pillar ones could be a possibility, but I can't imagine retrofitting airbags into the Recaro seats.
