Constant Power Wire

Can someone tell me what color and where the closest constant power wire is in the Evo from the center dash panel near the shift knob area?

There should be a yellow wire in the radio wiring harness, it is a constant 12v supply. All of the others in that area are keyed power supply, even the cigarette lighter.

Hmm, I spliced into the yellow wire and it doesn't appear to be a constant 12v. It only operates when the radio turns on.

Do you know which wire from the radio harness is 12v constant?

Take a look at the radio circuit diagram from mitsubishi's tech info site. I decided to look for you try a Red wire with a Black tracer.

Odd... was going from my Crutchfield wiring diagram from installing my Sony. Sounds like eternal9 found a better info source.
