This is interesting because all the cats and websites I've looked at haven't listed the EVO VII CT9A as a fitting for any Blitz I/C's. I've seen them for the previous models the 4 and 5 . This could explain your fitting issues.

I tried to fit a PWR evo vii fmic - - you can put in that blitz one but prob its not that much bigger than the stock one so your gain would be nominal

Pruven Performance makes a fmic upgrade that uses a GIANT sperco core - its twice the size of the stock one - 1080 cubic inches vs. 500 - - and it retains the stock bumper beam and there is NO cutting involved - it just bolts in - - they spent 3 weeks desigining it to fit perfecvtly in our car - it is not cheap - but you get what you pay for !

You can work around it like you said to get it in. My idea of fun real mods. Not your simple bolt ons .

well, we got word a week or so ago, the evo 7 ic's are no longer made or in stock, so we are getting the evo 8 blitz v-spec ic. now it will fit right in place. i didnt mind messing with it that much, but it will be less stress for me at the moment. it should be in in a week or 2... depending on how far the shipping is (i assume from japan) and availiability. also, this ic is supposed to be just at or above 950 ci or so. true, its no 1080, but im sure hp gains will be more on a ratial scale than nominal. anyways, im getting a great price on it, i cant afford the pruven, and blitz has always made quality products. i cant wait.

ohhhh yeah, how much do you think someone would pay for my stock evo VIII fmic?

PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE!!! STOP trying to put on parts for the VII on the VIII's!!! WAIT for OUR parts to come out.... y put on b grade parts and yes they are b grade even if they are A grade for the VII cuz they DONT fit right therefore they WONT work right... like all of u with all those VII parts on custom fitted.... if i get all those SAME EXACT parts that are made for the VIII... my power output will be significantly higher... so y waste your money and time... just wait.. patience is a very good virtue to have... it will be worth the wait...

hey hey hey, before you go nuts next time, read my last post. im getting the evo 8 blitz fmic. custom fitment on the same ic is not going to make your hp higher though. it matters on whats on the inside of the part. the evo 7 ic's are basically the same thing as the 8, just that the mountings are in the wrong place, and the 2.5 mph bumper is in the way. again, read all the post before going off.
