surge problem

i tried searching but wasnt really sure what to type in so bare with me

just had a forge diverter valve boost controller and a defi D boost gauge installed yesterday but im having some weird issues. first off, i think i am having surging issues at full throttle. secondly, my boost gauge is showing boost as high as around 24-25psi in 4th and 5th gear, but my boost controller is all the way down. without knowing what other information you guys need, does anyone know whats going wrong, or am i just being parnoid. i also have a turbotrix reflash. thanks gang

This item does not exist. Did you intend to say that you got both? If that is the case then we need a little info. YOu say you "think" it is surging? Well, if it was surging you would know. Is it in 5th gear at low boost and you roll off the throttle? If that is the case then you have the DV turned up too high. If your boost is reading high you may need to turn down your MBC. If it was set on a dyno then your gage could be off. There are too many variables. PLease define exactly what mods you have and how they where installoed and set and what the exact conditions where when you experienced problems. Also, comment on if you can recreate the problems and what the conditions are when you do..

Your blow off valve is installed backwards.

i will check to see if the blow off valve is installed backwards

i am going to try to answer all the questions

turbotrix flash, perrin cat back, forge boost controller and diverter valve. my gauge is a Defi D which is seems to be reading properly.

i have both the diverter, and the boost controller. the boost controller is dialed all the way back. i am seeing boost as high as 24 in 4th and 5th gear at wot, it holds pretty steady. in second and third gear boost only sees 20 but i spikes as high as 22.

the stuttering i am experiencing is typically in 3rd or 4th gear between 4k-5k at wot. again i say typically because i have only felt it happen when im getting on the highway.

i spoke to forge, and they told me that a the line from the back of the turbo to the goost controller might need to be replaced as you are not supposed to use the stock tubing?

thanks for the help
