edit: I apolagize for the comment about Full-Race. They are a quality company and make some great stuff. If I had a Honda, I would go full-race no doubt
Nice come back, you have resorted to name calling on an internet forum (surprise). I am sure people will now take your comments very seriously since you have held yourself to such a high standard.

I have a HAFE manifold at home and I was not impressed. It really needs to be cleaned up because the casting has a ton of imperfections. Luckily I got mine off Buschur who already did a mild port job.

I won't buy from SBR for the fact that their CS sucks. I had problems with a 2.1L destroker and they pretty much ignored me when I spun a rod bearing.

If the crap slinging does not stop, the thread will go in the trash, and members WILL be banned!

There are better ways to get the same point across... I suggest some find them.

My friend bought the kit used and needed some small parts like a flange and the upper radiator heat shield and they would not sell it to him. Plus they were pretty rude to him.

The only problem I have with my SBR kit is it is maxed out at about 534awhp. The manifold and 63ar hot side just doesn't flow enough. Everything fit perfect on my kit. I don't see how anyone had a problem with fitment. I really like how close to the block it keeps the turbo and away from the radiator. My friends AMS kit keeps rubbing a hole in the heat shield on his upper radiator hose.

Full-race is one of the best kits IMO. Their customer service it way better than AMS or Buschurs. If you want a small part from them call them and you can talk with Geoff even. I could never talk with Martin at AMS and that is why I didn't go to them to get my car tuned. The Full-Race kit does take some extra time to install but it is worth it. Even David Buschur said it was one of the best kits he ever tuned.

To the thread starter, I would say get the SBR kit if that is what you can afford, but get the 35r kit with the 83ar hot side. It will only spool a few hundred RPM slower than a 30r kit but the extra power is worth it. I love my 35r. I don't see how people say it is too laggy. The only time I have a lag problem it in 5th gear cruising and I need to go from 60 to 70. It really shows lag then. But all in all I am really happy with my SBR 35r kit. I just wish I had bought the 83ar.
BR kit is not on stock manifold, but BR Cast Manifold.DB DD just run 9.97 on thier off shelf GT35R kit.

the best i got out of the br 35r kit at 33lbs of boost on a stock block and head was 11.3 at 125mph with a 1.66 60ft time. i took my rev to 8200 rpm i wouldnt dare go any higher on stock internals lol but i was hitting my limiter way before the finish line.

Ryan,

Thanks again man! I love helping out you guys!

Anyway, just an update, last night, we put our Evo on the dyno, with a Half 16 Half Pump mix, and a much more agressive timing curve, and made 470AWP. This is on the GT3076R.

I'll have a dyno graph shortly.

Do not post in this thread again... not even a retort, or excuse...

You have your last warning...

You demanded we fix your 2.1l block after you assembled it and spun a rod bearing.

Does this sound about correct?

Sorry we could not help.

I didn't demand anything. I called and asked for parts and no one helped so I made a thread on evom.

Why don't you read it and tell me where I demanded for you to fix my block.

here is a quote from you in the thread you linked too. Post #20. It was plainly your fault. Why should they fix the motor. Where would the liability come from? This subject needs to be dropped.

Dont take offense Joey. I am not trying to say that. I am just saying they have no liabilty for a faulty install. That thread was full of comments saying SBR should be at fault. The parts were bad, ect. Dont get mad dude. I am not trying to insult or temp anyone into a fight.

I understand that people will defend the product which they spend money on. Especially when nothing goes wrong. Why is it so complicated to understand why I could be upset? Why should I be happy with SBR when my problem was never resolved? I never once demanded anything for free or even at discount. I did not lie and admited to my faults in the thread. Anything anyone asked I responded truthly and honest.

I purchased parts from them which took longer than expected for delivery. When I ordered I was told everything was in stock which it really wasn't. I screwed up on the assembly and spun the rod bearings so I asked for assistance. I did not get any after a week of emailing and calling. I then started a thread on evom so people could give me their input. Mark from SBR decided to come into my thread and bash me. He also argued with someone in thread but thoses posts got deleted. Am I happy with SBR? Hell no.... Did I have fun putting my engine togther...? Yup!!! My 2.4L works and I learned lots from doing the 2.1L...

Why do they call a PM, a PM?

Wow, I try to do the right thing by keeping this off the forum, and you need to drag my PM out into the forum? Thats just amazing, good insight into the type of person I am dealing with as well.
