I think you should spend a little extra and get the HPF kit from makourn who is selling it for dirt cheap on the forum. Its a hybrid ball bearing gt35R kit comes with 3.5 inch down pipe SS tubular equal length header, lower IC pipe to work with the kit and a tial wg with dump The whole kit is awesome. and he is selling it for 1000 less than retail. AND ITS NEVER BEEN BOLTED ON. Horsepower freaks backs him up 100 % on the purchase of this turbo kit. They put down 535 awhp on race gas on a stock bottom end. I will link you to the post and maybe you could look into that before you go and buy the industry standard. This turbo produces, and the kit is great. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=226169 You are getting alot more from this kit at the price ...

thats the base 35r you are getting the full ball bearing 35r at that price he is selling the turbo kit that goes for 4450 for 3350. By the way AMS kits are more espensive as you add options to your turbo. You are getting alot more for the money by going with the HPF kit. And the turbo is a hybrid turbo. Go read the page. I dont care what turbo you get they will all make you happy however I can almost guarantee that you will be completely impressed with the HPF kit. BR and AMS is industry standard equipment and they can price it accordingly becacuse people will by it reguardless because of the name. I do agree that HPF has way high prices when you order directly from them. The fact of the matter is this guy is selling the kit for over 1k off of the retail price. The price is good for what you are getting period. I dont know why he hasnt PM'd you back just give him some time because I know that he has been trying to sell the kit for a while, I am suprised that the damn thing is still on the market. If I had 3 grand to blow I would buy that kit from him without thinking twice. The kit is prices to sell right now. I wouldnt pass up the opportunity to get a bad *** turbo kit right now for that price. You can go with BR thats fine its a great turbo kit too, but look at all the crap you are getting in addition to the turbo and look at the turbo itself. 2 totally different beasts. anyways thats my 2 cents.
I'd take a very close look at the Shearer turbo kits group buy right now as well. His manifolds are the best in the business (Buschur supplies them in Buschur's tubular header kits) and Shearer's manifolds have a LIFETIME WARRANTY to the original owner (see if you can find that anywhere else!). His kits are also more complete than the Buschur kit (Shearer's includes the lower intercooler pipe, while Buschurs assumes that you also have their intercooler kit).
Nothing whatsoever negative to say about either Buschurs or AMS's kits, I just think that right now the Shearer group buy is an awesome value direct from the manufacturer.

the only problems that i have is that it surges really bad in 4th and 5th gears, cruising and then half throttling it.it surges really bad on the dyno also.the other problem is making over 500 @ the wheel on 93 +alky with almost ever br part on the car.im running 32psi and still can hit 500 on a dyonjet.i think it maybe be a tuner problem, but tt tuned it.the turbo spools up really quick.the dyno numbers are low with the br kits, but the 1/4 mile times are a different story, low 11 second almost 10 second cars.
