Man, I wish you were closer to Albuquerque I would have you do it in a heartbeat. But is there a link of somesort to a step by step that you have done at all. Somebody said shops are using your procedure and I'd love to give them a copy of that so they can do my clutch correctly and in a time saving manner.

That is awesome, I can do a clutch in any Honda/Acura in about 3 1/2 hours or so, but I dont think I could change the clutch in an EVO nearly that fast.
What would you say the hardest part of the install would be?

i would say without a doubt that the hardest part of a clutch install in an evo(and i'm sure anyone else that had the pleasure of performing the job will agree)is getting the beast of a tranny back in! plus, for mine the 6-speed is a tad bigger and heavier so it's even worse.

I use a engine hoist so the tranny is supported it on a chain so i can swing it and twist it as needed, makes it easier to position and try to get it aligned and back in. The hardest part is on the ones with the acd removing the TC without having to bleed it.

I guess i will have to do a step by step write up, there is one already in the how to section, but i will redo it as soon as i can. I have like 4 clutches in the next week so i will try to do one.

The first time I did my own clutch, I started 9am and finished 1 am the next day. I have seen the tranny dropped with the intercooler piping untouched. It took the Mitsu tech about an hour to drop the tranny out. Impessive though to do all that without power tools. I had power tools when I did mine. I thought it would have been like my Galant Vr4 but I was mistaken.
