Yea it was the beatbrush underpanel. I love putting pressure on shops. Funny thing is i do mostly 90% of all the evo work in town.Originally Posted by mitsuorder
Was it an aftermarket underpanel that was giving you a headache? Props for putting the pressure on local shops btw. Evolving Member

Are you saying it was difficult to get the beatrush underpanel out and back in?
I'm curious because I was considering getting that product. I was hoping it would make work under the car easier, not harder.

i have the carbing underpanel and it only takes 5 bolts to get off, takes about 2 minutes.

<---- Was in the garage playing xbox. His last one was 5 hours, this one was 4 hours. His times are coming down. He could have been 20-30 mins faster if we didnt stop to do a jager bomb and find a bolt for the kids clutch that was missing. Whoever did the clutch last time didnt bother with little things like putting bolts back in!

No it actually is really easy. Much nicer and easier to remove than the stock one. Just extra stuff to remove, and he has the works downpipe with the guard they have for the dp.Originally Posted by tsi90awd

I call BS on your BS comment. If you don't believe why don't you come hang out and watch him. Then when he's done we can help uninstall that foot in yo mouf foo!

I look forward to seeing this. Subscribed to this thread. Thanks in advance from countless EVO owners...

it would be great is you could also include the extra steps to complete this on a 6-speed equipped evo as well as it's a little more of a challenge than the 5-speed. iwas in for a few surprises when i did mine while using a how-to designed for 5-speed non-ACD equipped evo's.

Sure can guys. I will try and do it this weekend. If not i have several clutches coming up. I would like to make it easier for everyone.
