Hey Guys, Once Again I searched but cant find an answer but heres my question..

I have an evo IX with an HKS hipower catback. I plan on going with the buschur racing HFC and tanabe downpipe. I wanted to know if this will all bolt up or if I will have any fitment issues. Thanks guys, hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend

 

Make sure the bolt flanges are the same. I had that problem when i had my test pipe it was 3 bolt, and my downpipe was 2 bolt. So i had to cut off one end and weld a new flange on it.

 

Well im not going to order the HFC or DP until I know for a fact that they will fit.

Why not buy the whole TBE from the same company?

 

I already have the hks hipower, and to my understanding the tanabe dp has the best fitment, now I need to know which HFC to get to fit between the two, and I need to order this tomorrow morning so I really need to find out

 

well just find out what kind of flange the tanabe has, and find a HFC that matches.

 

See, I dont understand what you mean by flange? like 2 bold or 3 bolt? Are those the only 2 types? I know the HKS HIpower is a 2 bolt flange and I believe the tanabe DP is as well so does this mean all I need to do is find a HFC with a 2 bolt flange and im golden? Thanks in advanced

 

yea, its where you bolt up the exhaust. You said that your HKS uses 2 bolts, that is how you bolted up to the stock cat correct. well just make sure that your DP and HFC are the same.

way to go ak47po. well there you go its a 2 bolt pattern. I believe almost every HFC is a 2 bolt so you can go with almost any company.

 

Iv'e got this whole TBE from Tanabe on my IX and it fit's perfectly and sound's great.

 

ak47po: I cant see anything? You have the tanabe TBE? Is the downpipe 2 bolts? Do you know of any HFC that are 2 bolts as well, the buschur racing one looks like its 3 bolts

 

You can't see the pic's?The tanabe has two bolt's,HFC i don't know about.

 

i have hks exhaust system, but my catdelete and downpipe are both from invidia, fit perfectly.
