A1000 in the trunk... good ?

Hello,

it seems to me that the only option I could have... because I don't want to put the a1000 under the car, for my off-road driving....
would be to put the a1000 in the trunk.

Would this be a good choice ?

They told me to put it in a position lower than the tank, but it is really impossible...

Thanks in advance for any advice...

are you sumping your tank or going fuel cell?? if you are using fuel tank you have to mount lower than the tank becuase the fuel pump is gravity feed. the a1000 is a beafy unit maybe you can weld some sort of cover on the outside.

Like Top End said make a sort of cover for it if your worried....i would NOT put it in the trunk, incase of a fire.

Where in NY are you anyway?

You can mount the A1000 higher then the tank. Just make sure you get a -10 check valve to prevent back flow when the car is off thanks what I have on my setup
