You suggest I try and use a larger gap .28 or .26? I was actually thinking to go smaller/tighter to .20.

Also, i'm wondering if my plug wires might be going bad as breakin up is sometimes a symptom of bad wires.
.22 is super low in my book. how ever other than a stock ecu and an AEM EMS i dont have any experiance with the Autronic box to know. what plugs are you running?

I'm running NGK BR8ES...my Autronic is very similar to an AEM. Let me know what you think on the plug gaps?

Can you guys post the lift numbers on these cams. I'm considering getting these or the comp 280's. However i'd like to know the lift.

Spec's included with cam for GSC 280's

lift = 10.32
Total Duration = 288
1mm to 1mm Duration = 218

The key to this cam is duration, not lift, as per Greg @ GSC. The increased duration gives more power & more torque with much better idle as well vs. increased lift.

Nice numbers...I may purchase a set of these to compliment my new turbo kit (Apexi rx6). I'm currently running autronic's but will probably switch back to my ecu with a custom flash. Is there anyone out there running these with a flashed ecu?

My car now idles so much better with these cams vs. my HKS 264/272's...it much smoother & steadier.

Now I run a leaner idle mixture 13's at idle (before I had to idle at 11.5 ish AFR's anything leaner my cars rpm would start to hunt between 1000-1200 rpm).

Should be OK with a flash, I forsee no problems.

Have you tried to add timing to the top end yet? you should be able to run a couple more degree's with ours over the hks units. by all means watch your knock but as for an average you should be good to go.

Thanks for the post btw customer feed back is always appreciated.

Thumbs up

I am about to switch my HKS cams on my already tuned car to buy these bad boys. You can’t beat the low cost of these cams for such high horsepower and torque gains.

I think my tuner was able to add more timing in the top-end and throughtout the entire rpm range. Car still needs some fine tuning once the breakin-up, mis-fire issue has been corrected, but it runs awesome now at 22psi

what kind of plug wires are you running, and the stock ones made 500whp for me with a dli.
