intercoolers

i've done a pretty good search in the forums and it looks like its been a while since someone talked about the best ic i say this cause i want to get a new ic but can't really make up my mind they all look like decent products only problem with asking like this is that there will be alot of " my product is the bestest" between the vendors but it helps

i personally think the ams intercoolers are the best, that is what i would buy if i were buying an upgraded intercooler, the buschur ones are really nice too though, i would stay away from the big name jdm ones like hks and greddy and turboxs but thats just me personally i have no reason to back this just my opinion.

I have the turbo XS one and it works perfect with my 35r. What's the reason for getting a new FMIC? You dont really need one until you are running high boost, or upgrading your turbo..

not unless your running a bigger turbo. Upgrading the IC while using the stock turbo will only cause more turbo lag. The stock IC is good up to 400hp..

I dont think there will be more lag with a bigger FMIC....I got a TurboXS one on a stock turbo, but you can also say I'm planning for the future! (3065)

AMS, Buschur or Nisei! it will be more laggy because it will take long time to fill up the bigger FMIC.

Yeah! but there will be a time when you fall-out of the boost range and your car will be slow as hell, untill the rpm reaches 3.5k

nope you are wrong its my car I would know. I hit full boost by 3000, and at lower RPM's if I punch the gas while in the right gear, boost is almost instantly.
