I'm not talking about 5 gear... why would i be in 5th gear at low RPM's. If I am in 5th going 50-60 there is no lag either if that's what you are asking, but If I am in 1-3rd just cruising around town, boost is always there when I need it, or I just downshift to accomodate.

There is no need for a bigger FMIC if you are running stock turbo. I changed mine because I had got into a little fender bender. Than I went bigger turbo. I have the turbo XS fmic. Its the best bang for the buck.

I have the Perrin intercooler. It allows you to retain your factory crash beam too.

ya get what ya pay for is right... but how much technology could possibly go into an intercooler... isnt it a replicate of the bushur unit... i dont think the real bushur for 600 is that much better than this one for a little more than 1/6 of the cost... idk

cheers!

why dont you just buy a garret core for whatever hp you are wanting to run and have a fab shop do up some end tanks for you...I believe ams and buschur use garret cores, but i am not 100% sure. I wouldnt touch any ebay crapola though...if you can afford to drive an evo you should have no problem shelling out a couple hundred bucks for an intercooler. just my .015
