Yeah I know man.

Let us know how you do at the track whenever you decide to take it back.

I dont know what all the bickering is about... but... A lightened flywheel should give you more power... You probably cant tell but it should... Maybe your just not used to it anymore.... for every pound you shave off the rotating assembly you gain 2.7hp to a point... thats why lightened pullies and everything are so expensive.... They also help the motor to rev faster which shouldn't help spool but it will get you into the rpm where your turbo begins to boost faster.

Miguel, the "kick you were feeling before was the turbo spooling as the clutch was slipping, (kind of like brake boosting). When the clutch finally grabbed your car was in boost and felt like you had a kick at whatever RPM it grabbed at. Now that the clutch is fully engaged at all times, the turbo is spooling more gradually and you will not feel that surge.

Lack of spool, kick, punch and so forth your discribing would be torque loss, not power.

If the weight of a new clutch is enought to lessen the power of your vehicle, then you were only sitting at 160whp. Obviously this aint the case

Was your clutch slipping before? If so maybe you got used to the extra kick noticed from a slipping clutch engage at higher RPM.

Maybe something loose making noise loud enough to pull timing

power imediately after clutch install likely will be of few things. Can the extra weight on a fly wheel make a difference, I mean "noticable"? On a bicycle.

Also, any mechanical problems would be obvious like the smoke coming from underneath car and the ear piercing noise.

My clutch started slipping shortly after alc inj and one thing I can tell you for sure is once I replace it, I am going to miss the feeling of my toasted stock clutch engaging after a slip at 4500rpm from a roll at 25 psi while all the tires are breaking loose. The slipping clutch at peak torque is not too different than a rolling boost building 2 step. Maybe he misses that
