Head Gasket Work

Hey,

I need everones opinion. Would you trust the under skilled mitsu mechanics putting in a head gasket for you? I know its free and under warranty, but i dont trust them. Or do you do it your self and just spend the fifty bucks for the head gasket.

If the mits has other evo's there then yes let them do it. But if not, then no. I took mine to the dealer and they charged me out the a** and did it wrong. I had to take it all apart and do it myself...

It's also a good opportunity to inspect everything yourself.

I replaced my valve cover gasket too. Just because i have to make sure everything is right. I'm actually glad i did it myself because it makes me familiar with everything and i get to look at it all. Just inspect everything.
