how is your boost curve?

Mine spikes to 26psi, holds around 24.6psi through 4 - 5.5k RPM and drops to 20.5-21psi at 8k RPM. Boost is controlled via ecutek (restrictor pill removed). Car was mapped with shell v-power (97ron) but I run shell v-power racing (100ron) for additional safety when available

Boss, have you verified that you actually see 26psi with no boost control through the use of a MAP sensor? It's very hard to get your boost that high with no boost control, and just removing the pill gives very erratic boost - not the best idea when you could easily have full control over the boost with a simple boost controller...

Stock is 20.3psi at 3500rpm, tapering to 17psi by 6500rpm (use 3rd gear as your reference). Some IXs boost more or less due to whatever differences there may be between cars, but those numbers above are the listed standard from Mitsu.

Who makes an accurate boost gauge? Both my prosport electronic gauge and my autometer mechanical gauges are off by atleast 1psi, maybe more.

97 RON ~ 92 MON (what they use in the states)
100 RON ~ 94 MON

Isn't 24.6psi with 26psi spike a little high for the gas you're running?

Read your owner's manual... it states it very clearly.

Zeitronix wideband with kavlico medical grade pressure transducer (MAP sensor) is the most accurate.

Wastgate pressure on a IX is ~11psi. I think it cracks around 8.. but it will boost to 11psi with the turbo connected to the wastegate. The boost on the IX is mechanically limited to around 20psi by the 2 boost "orfaces" or pills if you will. 1 is located about 2 inches from the boost solenoid and the other is after the pill in the middle of the small hose that runs to the turbo off of the Tee.

The stock Tee that the boost gauge runs off of also has an orfice in it as well.
