Tial leaded or unleaded fuel WG?

So kind of off topic but still a need to post in Evo-Turbo/ Drivetrain. I was cruising dynamic racing's website for some 3si parts for my friend and i came acrossed this option for the wastgates. I have never seen anything like that on the Evo market nor has anybody said anything about it. Are we not suppose to run leaded fuel on our with tial wasgates? It doesn't make any sense, what could leaded fuel hurt in a wastgate?

here is the website for example, go to the bottom and click the WG option.

THe lead will coat every thing and may cause it to function improperly. Just a guess tho.

maybe a higher psi wastegate? Dont know if they work like the stock internal gates with the higher rate spring or not.

I was kind of thinking that but you can get the stronger spring option from tial for less than $50.
I think most of their WG's come with a 14 psi spring standard and that is good for holding 30+ psi all the way to 8krpms in my car .

It has nothing to do with the springs. The 38mm tial gates come standard or they have gates with different seals that can withstand leaded fuels. The regular gate can probably get by on some leaded fuel but will start to stick after using it with leaded fuel.

one more reason why I like the 44mm gates the best. you can run as much leaded fuel through them to not have issues and they will never leak as they use a v-band clamp.
