I would go ahead up grade the valve train, BC valve train is a good price. I would also get some kind of EM.

what mods do you have done so far? most likely 280's are going to be overkill but whether you go with 280's or 272's youll need to have your ecu tuned (flashed) for optimum drivability and power

I went with TTP, but there are a slew of flashes out there. Its best to check websites to see staged upgrades that you need to support this kind of mod. Buschur is a good place to start. But there are others as well.

A tune & supporting mods. If your in MD. then you should be close to AMS or Buscher, I would go with someone near by in case you have a problem, that way you don't have to send your ECU out and have down time or worse.

EM stands for Engine Management and a flash is a form of EM.

i have aem ems in my car with comp 280's.. when i took out the aem the car would not run with the 280s and a factory ecu... it stalled out every 30 seconds and rode terrible. but on a flash it would be fine, youll just notice a lumpy idle.
