Is Revolver out of business?

They have not released any new cams. They are not answering their phone. They made the the best cams for making big power and then disappered. Does anyone know the deal.

Dont know what the score is with revelver but have you tried piper cams ???

A member on the lancerregister.com got some dynos done comparing the HKS 272 vs Piper 265 duration or more commonly known as the BP300s and the pipers clearly out performed the HKS ones in the midrange by as much as 40whp and 70lbs tq, and the top end was identical. The Piper 272 duration or BP320s are likely to give additional gains.

They are having more cams made, and have told me that they are anticipating that they will be available at the end of November.

they are far from being out of business... they have been working on another addition to their evo cam selection... testing has been going well

we are all excited to see/try the new grind.

VERY INTRESTING

I'd love a set but you have to install valves springs and retainers and also have an ems that can handle tuning their idle.

Looks like I'm going to have to go with GSC 280's instead since they can use the stock s/r's

you definatly dont NEED ems to get them to idle...a flash will work just fine

Shoot me an email or PM, that is not necessarily correct, and you might be surprised about the performance per dollar.

Thats odd because both Al and Buschur will say the exact opposite. The problem is that the factory ecu cant find a solid idle speed as these cams dont produce a solid amount of vaccume at idle....

I'd be interested to see if Revolver Decides to make a Drag Only "280" series cam.

Maybe .450 lift 240-244 actual duration

The Revolver cams have a very VERY aggressive idle. Much too aggressive for most street cars, I'd say.

As for making power, I (along with Tuning Technologies) couldn't get them to work using two different sets. Buyer beware. The vast majority of people making real power with these cams have significant modifications such as a ported heads and speed density conversions. Nobody that I know of on the West coast will even endorse buying a set of these.

well, they may want to work on customer service as there current service is absolutely atrocious. They don't answer the phone, return phone calls or emails.

p.s. ordered cams springs and retainers a month ago and nothing...they won't contact back and have been trying for 2 weeks now

I am in the same boat as you, and it seems that they were fine with charging my credit card, but won't give any kind of communication.

I am about to do a charge back and go with something else.
