BOV issues

So I have the Turbosmart BOV, venting to atmosphere. The car went into the body shop for a couple of weeks, and I just got it back yesterday. Heres the problem tha tI noticed, as I was driving home, it sounded as thought the BOV wasnt venting the air as well as usual, so when I got home I took the cap off the valve, and found that I had a good amount of standing water in the there. Anyone that is familar with the Turbosmart BOV's knows what the inside of the BOV's look like. When you pull the cap off there is a long spring in there, that rests inside a larg brass cyliner that is the valve, well in the area where the spring rest's in the valve is where all the water was at. I also saw that the valve was stuck to the aluminum body of the BOV. I cant get the brass valve out to oil it up again.

Would all of this be a cause for concern, and how the heck did water get in there? I never had this issue before.

I do have a crack in my HKS filter, could I get condensation pulled in from the filter, and when it goes through the system it it gets pulled into the BOV and collects?

I am going to call JRP/Turbosmart today to see what they have to say.
