I originally thought the same thing, its a crappy pumpgas turbo. But after you drive it for a while you realize its really not that bad. I couldn't imagine going back to the stocker now.

The powerband feels more linear then with the stocker, you don't get a surge down low then a drop off. Its just a constant increase in HP & TQ from 3k to redline.
