RRE's - Type-RS BOV Kit – or - WORKS - Diverter Valve

I have been playing with the search button for too long!

I’m currently using a HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve and now looking for a Recirculating Blow Off Valve that will handle 25psi and feel the most like stock.
I found two that may fit the bill.
RRE's - Type-RS BOV Kit – or - WORKS - Diverter Valve.

RRE's - Type-RS BOV Kit - $230 (kit)
“This is an EVO specific kit. Includes adapter. The BOV is modified by us to fit clean, not rub the hoses, recirculate the air back into the turbo intake pipe and won't surge like other BOVs.
The Type S BOV is the most adjustable and versatile BOV on the market today.”

OR

WORKS - Diverter Valve - $229.00 $199.00
[125.101]

"The WORKS Diverter Valve is an OEM-style unit featuring all-metal construction (except internal diaphragm), utilizing a higher rate (stiffer) internal spring than all others for ultimate boost pressure regulation and special fastening hardware for a superior airtight seal.
Holds significantly more boost than the OEM EVO valves. Since 100% of the discharged boost pressure is returned back to the intake, the WORKS DV ensures the best drivability possible.
You cannot get a better EVO valve for performance, reliability and daily drivability."

I am looking for first hand personal experience “Pros & Cons” from members who have used either one of these Recirculating Blow Off Valves

I'm not sure why you'd consider either of those when your stock DV meets your requirements perfectly and costs you nothing. That is very strange. I cannot imagine paying $200 or $230 for those when you have one just as good that came on the car, when a JDM MR DV/Stock IX DV (same as you already have) only costs $105, and when the best recirculating valve of all (Forge RS DV) only costs $170-180.

Care to elaborate?

Put back on your stock IX DV and that will do the job.

Quote from RRE:

If you have an EVO 9 putting on an upgraded BOV is more a fashion and audible statement (not that there's anything wrong with that :-)
The magical "Doesn't Works" BOV is an OEM MR, IX DV. Just get the sticker from "Doesn't Works" and save yourself a few hundred bucks.

Yeah, imagine having a IX with one of the best DVs on the market, then instead of using that, buying another stock IX DV with some company's name on it for double the price...nice!!!

Why are you considering even upgrading your bov? Are you running 25+lbs of boost??

He's actually de-ricing his car by getting rid of the HKS SSQV. It would be a shame if he didn't hang onto his already awesome stock DV. I still am baffled how he wants something that holds 25psi and feels THE MOST LIKE STOCK. How much more LIKE STOCK can you get than...stock? The stocker holds 25psi, too.

Remember:

the WORKS BOV is just a glorified JDM MR BOV..why pay a premium for a product that works exactly the same and probably is the same

Don't get Greddy BOVs...the diaphragms break down

Apperently you havent been playing with the search button long enough. Or your playing with it too much and are not reading.

Agree with all - my vote is C - Neither, put back on the stock IX DV.
