Dave - not to be a bunghole, bur remember, when Al, you and TTP went round and round about the megan exhaust, you wanted to test one, but it was unvailable. Did you ever get one bought and dyno'd? Just curious...

I made 29hp over stock with my HKS Ti and DC downpipe, then I went out in my garage and made this little booger and made 54hp over stock Granted I didn't dyno the same day, but it was on the same dyno. It could be a happy dyno, but my experiences at the track kinda back it up...I picked up 4-5 mph with the HKS and 9-10mph in the 1/4 with the race pipe and I don't have anything else done to my car... no MBC, no reflash, nothing. I don't even dick with my HKS anymore...I just keep this thing on during the warm months when I am at the track and toying around on the streets and then I toss my stock exhaust back on in the winter. It takes me about 15 minutes to switch them out and I love it. Just a thought

I know this is the horsepower thread, but would anyone comment on how loud the Buschur cat-back is with the Magnaflow muffler? And does the Magnaflow muffler sap any power?

Megan exhaust is no magical forever backordered product. It has been back in stock. Some has CHOSEN not to test it for some odd reason.

I never got a Meagan to test, I didn't bother. I'd be glad to do it but got tired of the subject/arguement when it was going on last time.

Resonators, reducers, additional bends all take away from power. The more power you make the more power they rob. My RS ran 9.97 at 142.32 mph through our normal 3" turbo back exhaust and our bullet muffler. It is the lightest SS system on the market, no better materials available in any other system won't rust or rot.

My cousin and I put a Greddy Ti with a DC downpipe on. It was AMAZING how light the exhaust system was. The weight reduction on that alone was crazy. For style, power, weight, Greddy Ti gets my vote. Anyone notice how fast the heat dissapattes (sp) too?

does anyone have an audio/video clip of a Buschur TBE or other brands? I'd be glad to host them here http://dsmvideo.vidiac.com I'm in the market for a new exhaust and would like to make a more educated decision.
