Thats absolutely right! People said the same thing about buying a WORKS Drop-In Filter, but I didn't care because you get what you pay for. I will be installing the manifold in the coming days, most likely on Wednesday. I will be sure to post my impressions once I have done so.

I didn't know that looks were more important than performance.

Kevlar heat wrap does not even compare to the performance of the Swain-Tech coating. I don't know where you are getting this misinformation. If you are interested in reading about the coating, there is plenty of information available on http://www.swaintech.com/.

I heard if you don't have at least 700 hp it doesn't make any sense to get a tubular mani...At least so i heard.

Well, I didn't get around to it as planned with all the buzz surrounding Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools where I am living in Pennsylvania so it will be some time before I can install the manifold.

this is definately not true. A tubular manifold will help on any turbo car, from low boost to high boost and anywhere in between. While it is absolutely true that one setup could benefit from 50-60whp and another might only benefit from 10whp, it will depend completely on the setup you are building.

I think its a good idea to buy parts and assemble them as a a "system" rather than expecting to throw on a manifold and see 60whp. Everything from turbine housing size to intercooler piping diameter matters. If you plan your build well from the beginning, the first time the car is tuned you will see solid performance, with no need to upgrade parts any more.

What is the difference between your ProStreet and ProStock manifolds?
im honored your first post was to me haha

the biggest difference (as spent pointed out) is that the ProStock is meant for the "stock" turbo (internally wastegated) whereas the prostreet is meant for a garrett T3 turbo with external wastegate.

I'm a college student, I didn't bring my brigade of Craftsman tools with me.

Anyway, installed the manifold today but it is raining so I don't have any pictures. I will be sure to take a few tomorrow. I decided to heat-wrap the radiator hose and the coolant return line for safety reasons. Definitely notice a significant power increase throughout the powerband and spool is virtually unaffected. As always, a great product from Full-Race.
