To those that say this mani is too expensive.....well I would rather pay a high price than end up with a mani that cracks. I'm picking one up for my IX after the holidays, not coated of course.

you know what there's so much stupidity in this thread i gotta say something

firstly, full race manifold is good for 15hp OVER any other manifold out there.

the ****idiot that said that the ported mani flows almost as much is stupid.

the **** idiot that said it's 1000 bucks for 15 horsepower forgot to take into account that it TAKES ****ING MONEY TO PORT A MANIFOLD. go ahead... give yer manifold to buschur... see how much it costs and then see how much hp you get. then subtract that from the alleged 1000 dollars and see how much hp you're getting (15) per that amount of money and it's not so bad. (there's worse)

then realise that this piece DOESN'T EVEN GIVE ANYTHING UP TO ANY OTHER MANIFOLD ON THE MARKET. anything else that "costs less" is not doin' ANYTHING better than this manifold... are you feeling stupid yet?

i can't believe how much absolutely retarded reading comprehension goes on here... there's actually people recommending to search and then come up with threads that prove exactly what they're talking against. you're all ****in' idiots and that's why i delete your bull**** on socalevo.net ****in' idiots

You will definally make more power with a tubular manifold over a log manifold.

I have personally see results that show that tubular manifolds are better then log.

btw the swain coating is AWESOME!!

My mani is slightly different in design to yours... Here it is... truely a work of art, and should be represented as such

Several years ago I used Swain coating on a turbo manifold on my Miata. The coating peeled off after my first track session (~20 minutes). Not sure if I got a bad batch of coating, or what. Swain told me it could have been too much expansion of the manifold combined with the thick coating. Swain was great and recoated it for free, but it puts a little bit of doubt in my mind. I never did take it back to the track, so I do not know if the second time they coated it was better.

On the second turbo kit for my miata, I used jethot since it is thinner, coated inside and out. Did not have any cracking issues, even at the track.

Looking good! Unfortunately for me, Full-Race released a re-designed version about a week after I ordered my manifold. Geoff had advised me that power was virtually unchanged. Have fun with it, I know I have!

Yup...I ordered the Manifold for Silvermike from Full-Race. We requested that Full-Race drill and fit the bung so as to not void the warranty. The manifold will remain without any thermal coating.

It's going on a VI GSR along with a plethora of other parts and we won't be able to give a direct comparison of the stock manifold vs the pro stock.
