Question Engine Problem... please help

Hey guys, I searched with no luck.

I am having two problems, idk if related or not.

1st: The car idles like crap when its cold. It idles fine when warmed up.

2nd: At 0.5bar of boost, the car starts to spudder and start to run lean (about 14.5 - 15.0). I was thinking maybe MAF or FPR but I'm not sure.

Also, where can I even get a MAF besides the dealership who just tried to screw me for another $400?

Thanks,

Tom

Have you checked and/or changed your plugs? Why would you suspect your MAF or FPR? Did you damage them or something?

If I had to get a MAF, I'd get one used form someone who did a big turbo upgrade with AEM EMS.

I suspect my MAF because I've had some problems with it before. I cleaned it and it solved some of my low idling problems, but soon after that problem this one started.

Also something to note: I can rev all the way up to redline if I wanted w/o problems, it's only when I hit 0.5bar of boost that it does this.

Thanks

isn't there something on the intake manifold or t/b that can move your idle up and down?

Yeah. There is. But that doesn't solve my running lean under higher boost.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
