First time poster long time reader. My Evo 8 made 208 whp, does that sound right? IMO that is low. What do you guys think? mods are KN drop in, and axle-back.

 

It is low, but it's right for a stock 03 on a properly-reading Mustang Dyno. The K&N and axle-back really don't add much.

 

yeah got it used with that on it. right know i have a bushur dp, test pipe, blitz catback, and ebc. I'm wanting 230hp at least next dyno on 21.5psi but who knows

 

nice...enjoy the beast...add a few toys and that thing will come to life!

 

Mustang Dynos are hard nuts. OZ Lancers would be like 25whp on the thing.

 

Yeah the dyno i use just did a stock evo 9 it made 260ish I can't remember the exact number. Way more than my 8.

 

Get a tune for those mods and you will see some nice numbers.

 

Yeah, don't forget a flash to go with those mods.

baselined 206whp stock 03'
boltons: 3"tbe, MBC, and SAFC tuned i went to 248 (almost like a dynojet stock baseline number)

 

yup, mine did 201 bone stock but only boosted 17 peak and dropped. After 272 and turbo back from Buschur it did 260whp. Its good to start with a weak base. You'll appreaciate more of what you add.

My friend made 280 on that same showzone dyno with 20g-9 cams and all the bolt ups.

I will be going there to see if I can hit 300's

 

Mine must have really sucked, it dynoed at 193 hp and 212 torque stock on a Mustang dyno. Added full exhaust (megan downpipe, ultimate racing high flow cat, and 5Zigen Fireball exhaust) and k&n drop in picked up went up to 219 hp and 236 torque. Finally, I added a custom flash and car went to 266 hp and 268 trq.

 

so with a ECU flash and TBE and EBC what numbers do you think I'll put down?
