I'm not sure I can comment on your car. I know it's incredibly fast, but to hit 400whp on our dyno here - even on C16 race gas - you're talking GT3076 or GT3037, no less. I have lined up quite a few power curves with the 42lbs there is no spool loss over the 16G and an extra 30-40ft/lbs of torque. Having done quite a few 5 blade and 6 blade 20G's, I would say this turbo makes the midrange torque than the 20G's make, but with less lag. It won't make the same top end though, for obvious reasons.

Cheers,

Gary

The turbo is based off the 16G platform with a larger 42lbs compressor wheel. Unlike the larger 20G-5/6, this turbo has a much smaller exducer diameter which means better response and spool up but better midrange than the stock turbo (even the EVO IX!).

Here's the graph on ~98 octane mix @ 1.8 bar. Was breaking 355ft/lbs on a few pulls, but we were getting an occasional misfire in the midrange so we backed it off a bit. More details to come

For reference a stock turbo at @1.8 bar will do about 310-315ft/lbs and about 320whp. While the top end is not substantially difference, there is a huge difference in area under the curve.

Sorry our scanner is out of commission

Cheers,

Gary

the numbers just arent impressive with those mods... i have the HP beat myself and i hit full torque 305 by 3000 to 3200 rpm's. we also have a guy down here running a 20G who put down over 400 tq on buschurs dyno and i think 375 hp.... again, not to say this turbo is crap, just seems a bit low to be boasting about not losing spool.
