I have an 03 evo 8 and I was wondering if the 05-06 Evo 9 TBE will fit it. I am not looking for questions...just yes or no, WILL IT CLEAR EVERYTHING AND BOLT UP TO THE TURBO????

Would love to give you a "YES" or a "NO" but I think it "might" fit because I think the problem with the newer evo's using the 03-04 downpipe was it running into I belive the LSD. (I COULD BE WRONG)

 

The 05-06 TBE should fit, the only difference is the dp clearence of the acd found on the 05-06. The catback and cat/test pipe will fit no matter what, I just installed a VIII catback on a IX with no issues. The 03-04 dp wont fit the 05-06 but its probably safe to say the 05-06 dp will fit the 03-04.....in theory

One thing to look for some IX TBE might not have the rear O2 bung in the pipe since its in the cat from the factory unlike the VIII which was located in the pipe....So you might have to tap a bung for the rear O2 if it doesnt already have one.

Some 03-04 dp's won't fit ACD cars but if it's off a ACD car it will fit a non ACD evo.

The answer is yes. But the 03-05 exhaust will not fit the 06 without very slight modification
