HKS rs replacement filter? where to buy?
For those of you that have the hks rs filter.
Where did you last purchase your replacement filter?
I usually stock up with 4 at a time , and Im out now and cant find a vender that sells them.
Looking for the blue or green 3 layer.
Thanks a bunch!!!

dont know about the whole filter.. .lancershop does have them and it says on the site which ones are on back order.... i bought the gray one... it is dark, nearly black and doesnt glow like the yellow one did
i also dont replace it but 10000 miles or so... at every 5k i take it out and wash it with soapy water and let it dry

bigric09, hows the tuned rocket? I will have a WB and soon and achieve same 4K to 6K rpm times (with 2cm taller tires too) with my 04 (alky).
Anyhow, from reading your post about washing the the RS filter I remember I used to do that and found out that you end up washing away the filters main filtering property - the film.
If your in need of a replacement but can't find one just use water, the soap will remove any remaining free oil which is the main filtering mechanism.
As filter gets dirty you can see parallel lines of crud on the outside of filter, the filter is still good if the inside looks brand new. After I washed the filter I immediatly got crud build up on inside.
Filter is useless without the activated surfactant within it and provides borderline protection new so why not replace the thing?
I need one too (about 8000miles),
