My dyno is in my sig, and I think the 50 Trim is a great street turbo for the stock EVO block

i used to have one. Made 430 at 22 psi with pump and 480 at 30 psi on pump/meth. It's a killer street turbo.

Most of the 50trims are exactly the same turbo internals (made by garrett). The only differences in the kits are how the downpipe connects, and the manifold itself (which don't really make a huge difference). If you are going to go with a 50trim, make sure that it is a ball bearing turbo and not the old school journal bearing (which spools considerably slower).

you need to read buschur's thread on their new 50trim kit they are trying to produce and the remarks dave had about 50 trim non ball bearing myths !! may get that idea out of your head about ball bearing spooling so much better then journal bearing... it changed my opinion for sure...

buschur has a kit that will be coming out shortly... 50 trim for under 2k
