boost??

don't flame me I looked many of times for this answer. how much boost can you run "safely'' on just a TBE and MBC?

Depends on octane, tuning, altitude, and weather conditions.

warr you the man, first off. I hit fuel cut earlier at 1.5 bar so I'm lowering it to 1.38 (20ish)
hoping no fuel cut, fingers crossed

You'll be more likely to hit fuel cut in cold weather when the air is dense, and it will happen at higher rpms in higher gears, which is where we have the most airflow across the MAF. Fuel cut is not a direct correlation with the amount of boost you're running.

Anyway, until you answer the 4 parameters I listed, we can't answer your question. Fuel cut is not what determines your safe boosting level.

is the ecu flashed?...here in cali...(sea level)...im currently running 18lbs without a flash...i have a tbe with an evo9 turbo...

Then set it at 21psi peak in 3rd gear, but be sure to get a fuel pump, recirculating BOV, and flash right away. You can probably run 22psi when you have everything.
