Bung placement on HFC for IX

I searched but nothing was helpfull.
I need to know on what side of the HFC core to install an o2 bung. I ask because, looking at the stocker, it seems the bung puts the sensor right in the middle of the core. BTW, this is on a IX and my cat back has no bung since it was designed for the IX. There is one on my DP as well but I guess that one should be used for a wideband right? What should I do?

Thanks

Well, I am thinking if someone can tell me where it should go then I can just go to a close muffler shop. RRE isn't too far but I need to try and do this quickly tomorow morning.
I just remembered that places might be closed tomorow, darn.

You can weld the bung anywhere on the pipe before or after the cat. There is enough wire from the factory to put it on the cat back part of the exhaust if you wanted to. You could take to RRE as suggested but any muffler shop could weld that on for you
