You won't need to pull the filter off of the old pump, which takes approximately 15 seconds, count time to walk to the tool box...

I bought mine through them, the price was as good as I could find after searching, but shipping was slow.

I used a couple of pieces out of the install kit, but you don't have to - as has been previoulsy stated.

Strange, I got mine two days at my door after I ordered it.

Just saw you're located in Florida , so shipping to you should be quicker assuming the pump is in stock.

On a side note here, I'm getting some conflicting information about the walbro fuel pump. Some people say I MUST upgrade the stock fuel pressure regulator to an aftermarket one, others say that it does not cause any problems switching to the walbro and using the stock regulator.

Is there any truth that running the walbro with the stock regulator will flood the cylinders with fuel? Or can I just get the walbro installed for 'fuelling insurance' while just using the stock regulator?

After installing the fuel pump, you'll need to be tuned. You don't need a new FPR though.

Great! That's what I was hoping to hear. The APEX'i FPR that I have seems to require an adapter to fit onto the stock rail, but if I don't need that, then I can just let Jestr know that I will be installing the fuel pump after he sends me the reflash
