OK this post appears to be going the WRONG direction.

4 Wheel Slide -- You asked if you needed a Walbro Fuel pump for your 9....The answer as given by several members and tuners in the know is NO....Yet you are now saying that you will get one ??? I would highly recommend you stay with the stock fuel pump until your scans are showing that you are running out of fuel....

FWIW -- The Walbro pumps whine.....

Given your level of mods, with the addition of alcohol injection you shouldn't be needing a higher volume fuel pump just yet . Alcohol is itself a high octane fuel and I think you'll actually need more air and less gasoline to achieve optimum combustion. You'll want to lean out your fuel tables with alky...so therefore you'll require less fuel(gasoline).

If you weren't gonna go to alkie, then I would say that given your trap speeds(props!) that you are putting down some serous power and you might as well get the higher volume pump, even on a leaner race gas map.

In regard to the install kit, I am of the opinion that the it is necessary so that the pump seats completely and doesn't bypass fuel back into the tank. It's a pretty cheap gizmo, anyway.

So, in dissent..... I vote no on the pump , no to the adjustable FPR, and yes on the install kit, which as a practical matter you won't need anyway because you won't actually be needing the pump, if you'll be running alky.
