Vendors, honestly? GReddy Ti for less than $1000?

since the price hike, i've seen several posts saying that they would buy the GReddy Ti if it were less than a grand. i have been looking for a while with no luck. yesterday i installed my Euro-spec rear bumper(same appearance as JDM) and now i am in need of shorter exhaust. so falling short of begging, there has to be a vender willing to sell these for less than 1000 bucks.

+1.

Been looking as well, but I have time. Won't need the exhaust until March before the AutoX starts again, but if I find it below $1000 new , will buy it ASAP.

Honestly if someone could sell direct to the public for that price there is something wrong. With the price increase to find one for 1000 shipped I would buy them from that company instead of direct from Greddy.

We sell them for 1,110.55 shipped which is cutting it close on the margins to make anything on the exhaust.

GReddy raised the pricing on the Titanium catback to sell for $1150-$1200 retail. It has nothing to do with vendors or vendor decisions.

Anyone who paid less, bought their system prior to GReddy's hike.

And in the end, you certainly aren't getting $1000 worth anyway...

No, you found a vendor that did not update their pricing on their website when the GReddy price changed. Their cost is more than that.

That's what I was thinking. I could make TBE for a couple hundred, I can't see spending a grand on some bent pipes.

...I'm sure I'll get slammed for this, but I was least impressed with the Greddy's super thin Ti (leaking) flanges, and bang for the buck out of most exhausts I've installed. If I had it all to do over again, and I could buy a Greddy Ti exhaust, or Megan (Buschur etc) for the same money, I'd buy the Megan or something similar. Sure the Greddy is super light, but it is not what I'd call "durable" to say the least! If you're going for super light, I guess the Greddy fits the bill. If you are going for best bang for the buck, it is toward the end of the list!
