Leave for Japan on the 9th so I'll look at the PIAA and whoever else has H11 bulbs out and pick some up.

I think what I did wrong was swapping out the lights when the car was on, the lights weren't though. I just put in a 10 fuse (had a 20 in there for a while) and they have't blow yet, I guess I am past the problem.

Really sohuldn't have mattered if the lights were off. The connections on the bulbs are well seperated anyway.

btw... Most automotive circuits are design to be normally running at half the fuse rating. ie. a 10 amp fused circuit is really only using about 5 amps normally. Doubling a fuse is a bad idea as your are at least tripling the current the circuit can see which can lead to damaged equipment and fire via melting of wires etc.

I noticed that mine don't seem to give off alot of extra light. They were the set from europeanauto site. Anyone else notice low light levels?

About the same light level as stock maybe a bit brighter.
They are only 55W bulbs and with the HIDs it makes it harder to tell. Plus since they are foglights the project more wide area than forward.

In one of the pictures I posted earlier, the one with the new bulb and one factory bulb shining on my garage door, you can see that the light intensity is about the same. The color is much better though...

I just spoke to that vendor and he is considering making a package that includes the H11's as well as the matching 9005's for the high beams. Maybe organize a group buy and get a good deal on them. Think people would be interested?

He needs to hook us up with the 9005s since we bought and promoted his site.
