Rattling after turbo install

Just recently I installed my Evo IX turbo on an Evo VIII. The install went by smoothly with the exception of a rounded off bolt on the manifold which has been replaced. I took the car out for a spin and everything seemed fine. I did 2 short pulls only up to 5,000 rpm because I'm not tuned and I'd rather play it safe. Yesterday when I was driving back to my place I heard what sounds like a rattling coming from the engine (passenger side). I tried to stimulate the problem again and noticed it only occurs in between 2,500-3,000rpm when I am in boost. If I just rev it up to 3,000rpm nothing will happen, however when I am in gear and in boost (out of vacuum) there is a rattle. The noise goes away after 3,000rpm and persists throughout all the gears. At first I thought it might be something that is loose, but if something was loose it wouldn't only specifically rattle/tick at those RPMs, it would occur more often. The second thing I thought about is maybe I'm knocking really bad in-between those rpms?! What is your input on the situation?

BTW my modifications are: Evo IX turbo, TBE, 680cc injectors (had them when I had my 20G), fuel pump, intake, LICP, ex. manifold, o2 housing, 10.5hotside, 264/272 cams, cam gears, Xede

Check your downpipe for clearance

I have a feeling it moved just a little and may be touching a cross bar.

Good luck

Sounds like marbles in a can?
This rattling thing could be detonation.
When I installed my 20g. I also heard this and it happens as boost starts to hit then goes away after a sec.
After a re-tune the noise went away.
Fill up with 100oct. See if goes away.
