Stock "2 step"?

I notice if i am in first gear not moving at all and i bring up the rps they bounce at 5-5200k like a 2 step, i wondering if this is boost buidling as well and how much psi it may boost or if it is just safty from the factory to avoid people blowing t cases and clutches.

It is a safety measure but it also does build a little over 8psi. Search for Launch control if you want to find out more.

sorta "safety measure", I think it more as a nice factory feature for drag racing.

Search 2step, 2 step, launch control or advance search my screen name for one of the many how-tos I have posted on using it.

You build 8-10 psi.

Yea it builds boost. Its a stationary rev limiter that enable anti-lag. Anti-lag is what actually builds boost.

You might not wanna hold it down too long. It can be bad for the car.
