problems with leaky downpipe/o2 housing

anyone here had problems with leakage at the DP/o2 housing after install? even with a new donut gasket i cant get it to seal all the way. there is a slight leak. i have a turbo xs downpipe. anything special i should know?

also i had to extend the wires for my o2 sensor. any serious consequences for mixing up the black wires? i dont think i did, but i also didnt label before i cut the wires.

dude I just installed the same DP. I cant tell if I have a leak or not. Scott from ttp said its the WORST dp on the market and that its a problem with leaking at that flange. I dont have reason to agree or disagree because a) I dont know if mine is leaking or not, but so far so good. and b)I have only installed this turbo xs dp, a buschur racing one and a blitz. the bucshur is the best so far. MY Turbo XS seems to be ok though. Is it a stock 02 housing? and why did you have to extend the wires?

Can one of you explain why you'd bother buying a TXS exhaust instead of one of the many proven exhausts on the market? I can't understand why people keep buying things from companies that DO NOT spend every waking moment doing R&D on Evos like Buschur, AMS, etc...

The leaky DP neart the o2 housing ...... not to good, that exhaust is hot man. Take your DP back off ( i know its a pain in the @ss) make sure there isn't any srappings from the old gasket on there and also make sure the new one is F'ed up.

As far as the o2 sensor is concerned .......are you triping a cell light ? If not keep a close eye on it. , but FYI mixing up wires is never good.

the turboxs exhaust was one of the first to come out for the evo and had near perfect fitment, turboxs puts a ton of time into r&d which is why they take a while to come out with their products...

Absolute garbage. Had a customer that bought theirs elsewhere throw their in the dumpster after a week of leaks. Does NOT clear the crossmembers either.

Their other exhaust products may be decent, the downpipe however is trash.
