Why BOOM,if you spent over 20.000 usd on the engine typically you MUST not fear to rev it up..If it BOOMS then the money and work done will not worth.

I said don't rev it any higher than necessary. Lets say you get the power your after and the powerband you want by reving to 9.5k rpm. If you want to the motor to last as long as possible, only rev to 9.5k. You could easily go on a rev to 10k rpm, but if you have achieved your goals by reving to 9.5k, there is no point in putting the extra abuse on the motor by taking it to 10k just because the motor may be able to take it. This is just for reference, I would say anything above 9k on a street evo with any regularity is pretty abusive.

Yes i agree if i reach 1000hp at 9.500rpm i will stop reving.but most tuners told me that it is not possible to reach the goal until 9.500rpm with a 20,5cc engine.

Honestly, I wouldnt spend 20k on any cars engine. I'd just go buy another car!

IF you have the car just for fun maybe.If you love the sport and wanted to develop something and had the money you would do it.
