I have a few questions for those out there using the ARC manifold heat shield in place of the stock item. I understand it comes with some insulation material. How/where is the applied? Have you had any operational issues since installing this item?

the insulation is like a sticker the sticks to the bottom side of the heat shield. and havent had any issues with it.

 

Mines still on there! Its a thermal barrier.

Thanks for the info gents. Is the thermal wrap self adhesive on one side or is there some kind of high temp adhesive supplied?

It is self adhesive on one side so that it can be applied to the opposite side that you don't see,the other side that is non adhesive has the shiny thermal wrap. Once you see it,you'll understand how it goes.
