You may need a donut gasket for the Megan DP.

the holes line up ... but the pipe dosent seal on the Dp..the Dp is 3 in and it seems the ss o2 pipe is a smalled diameter

I would trade you my Buschur one piece DP with test pipe for your Megan DP and TP. This will solve your problems for sure.
